Job Description

Salary: $540 / Week Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking multiple BehaviorTechnicians for K-12 schools in Lodi and Stockton, CA. Behavior Technicianswork one-on-one with students who receive special education or relatedservices, have a 504 plan, or with students in a Special Education Classroom. Some cases include: + Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) + Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDDNOS) + Childhood Disintegrative Disorder (CDD) + Cerebral Palsy + Down Syndrome + Various birth disorders + ADD/ADHD + Learning disabilities + Other Location: Lodi or Stockton, CA Schedule: Monday-Friday (5-6 hours a day betweenthe hours of 7:45am and 3:20pm) + Part-time options available Pay: $18 an hour starting rate (varies based onexperience) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Follow the instructions of the BCBA/program supervisor + Provide behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clients + Provide behavior support services + Provide crisis intervention + Implement behavior plans + Provide administrative support to teachers + Monitor child development + Prepare educational materials + Collect and analyze data on student behavior and progress + Provide academic assistance + Assist with mobility and daily activities + Offer social support and help with social skills development + Perform other duties as assigned/necessary Minimum Requirements: + Must be at least 18 years of age + High School diploma or equivalent required + Current CPR certification (we can help you sign up for a class) + Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required + TB test required (if you do not have one from within the last 90 days, we can set one up for you) Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
