Vien Dong 4 Supermarket in San Diego, CA is looking for one meat clerk to join our 71 person strong team. We are located on 5382 Univeristy Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections, offering recommendations, and answering any questions they may have
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming meat shipments in accordance with food safety guidelines
• Prepare and package met products for sale, including filleting, portioning, and wrapping
• Ensure that all seafood products are properly labeled, priced, and displayed according to company standards
• Monitor meat displays throughout the day, replenishing stock as needed and rotating products to ensure freshness
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the meat department, including cleaning display cases, equipment, and work areas
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling and storage of meat products
• Assist with inventory management, including conducting regular stock counts and notifying management of any discrepancies or shortages
