Position Summary

Advantage Insurance Agency in Lincoln, NE is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients. This role plays a key part in creating a positive experience for every visitor and caller while supporting our agents with essential administrative and clerical tasks. Key Responsibilities

● Warmly greet clients and visitors and provide professional, helpful service.

● Manage a multi-line phone system: answer calls, direct inquiries, and take accurate messages.

● Assist clients with basic questions related to policies, payments, and agency procedures.

● Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for agents and office staff.

● Process customer payments and provide receipts with accuracy and professionalism. ● Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.

● Handle incoming/outgoing mail, email correspondence, and package deliveries.

● Provide administrative support to insurance agents, including data entry, preparing documents, and organizing electronic and physical files.

● Update client information within agency management software.

● Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to insurance industry and agency compliance standards.

● Perform general office duties such as scanning, copying, filing, and ordering supplies.

Qualifications

● High school diploma or equivalent required.

● Prior receptionist or administrative experience preferred; insurance or financial services experience is a plus.

● Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

● Proficiency with office equipment and common software (Microsoft Office, email platforms, and agency management systems preferred).

● Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

● Professional appearance and positive attitude.

● Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Work Environment & Schedule

● Full-time position based in our Lincoln, NE office.

● Standard business hours, Monday–Friday.
