Global Roofing Group is a national leader in building envelope solutions, trusted by Fortune 500 companies, developers, and property managers since 1971. As we continue to expand our project execution capabilities nationwide, we’re looking for Field Coordinators to play a critical role in supporting field operations, coordinating crews and schedules, and helping deliver complex projects safely, on time, and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for commercial roofing projects nationwide, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
• Lead job setup, daily execution, and project closeout, serving as the primary field leader on-site.
• Participate directly in installation, troubleshooting, material handling, and site support as needed.
• Manage crew assignments, labor planning, project schedules, material coordination, and staging.
• Conduct safety orientations, daily safety meetings, hazard assessments, and enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Lead, train, and mentor roofing crews on proper installation techniques, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among crew members.
• Monitor workmanship throughout all phases of installation (TPO, EPDM, coatings, metal, BUR, etc.) and perform detailed roof inspections.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, general contractors, inspectors, and vendors, maintaining professionalism and clear communication.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, material tracking, equipment usage, and crew time reporting.
• Submit photo documentation, progress updates, and assist with budget tracking and change documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong proficiency in commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, coatings, BUR, metal, and re-roofing operations.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, details, specifications, and scopes for diverse project types.
• Demonstrated field leadership skills with the ability to motivate, teach, and hold crews accountable.
• Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and client-facing skills.
• Highly organized and disciplined, capable of managing multiple priorities while traveling.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for extended durations.
• Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform physical tasks in varying climates and conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crawl, bend, push, pull, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
