Position: Contract C++ Ultra-Low Latency Engineer
Duration: 12-month+ contract (remote)
Required skills / qualifications:
Strong C++20 (and modern C++ idioms, e.g. constexpr, concepts, move semantics, etc.)
Deep understanding of compilers / optimizing compilers, possibly experience adjusting flags, custom builds
Experience with ultra-low latency systems: real-time or near-real-time, high throughput, minimal jitter
OS skills (Linux, possibly real-time kernels), networking, perhaps kernel bypass, NUMA, memory layout tuning
Experience with multithreading, lock-free data structures, atomics, cache coherence, etc.
Profiling, measurement, debugging under tight performance constraints
