Job Overview:

HAP Inc is putting together a team of caring professionals, including direct support professionals, to work with one of our individuals whose home is in Schwenksville, PA. If you have experience assisting individuals with behavioral concerns, please forward your resume to kyona@hapinc.us.

Residential Locations: Schwenksville, PA.

Shifts: Various shifts available.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching important life skills such as decision-making, planning, and socializing.
• Helping adults achieve their life goals.
• Carrying out behavioral treatment plans and medical protocols.
• Aiding with activities of daily living-personal hygiene, meal preparation, money management, and housekeeping.
• Communicating with residents, families, and team members.
• Transporting and accompanying individuals to appointments and community/social events.
• Helping individuals become integral members of their communities.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License
• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience working directly with individuals who have behavioral health concerns.
• Must agree with person centered planning principles.
• Personality based on kindness, caring, and respect

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
